Using plasticine and clay, participants will create colourful characters and scenery to create a short animated sequence. We will learn about the “morphic” qualities of the materials and how characters are able to magically transform from one state to another.

Explore everything from basic storyboarding to creation of the flexible internal structure of an animation puppet and how to bring it to life with stop frame animation using iStopmotion. Add sound to the final movies and look at its importance when bringing characters and scenes to life.
