Combine hand drawn graphics and video, with a fantastic animation technique that let’s you trace or digitally paint over the frames of a section of moving video image, as used in the films Peter Pan, Yellow Submarine, A Scanner Darkly.
About the Tutor
Gemma grew up in Somerset and moved to London to study Theatre crafts and Puppet Theatre in 1999 at the Central School of Speech and Drama. She went on to study Animation direction for 2 Years at the National Film and Television School where she has experimented with many techniques and performance styles. She has produced work for the Electric Proms with Warp Films and the BBC, and recently created an Art Break Stint for MTV.
