In October 2006, artist Ming Wong led a stop frame animation workshop for adults, focusing on the creation of animation using 2D cut outs and drawn images.

"...it was great fun and has inspired me to get on and animate some of my artwork" Angela Poole

Workshop participants used a combination of iStopMotion and iMovie to create their final projects after creating their characters and backgrounds during the early part of the workshop.

"The workshop was fab, once I have developed more skills I am going to weave it into my teaching.."
Louise Kirby

Sculpture Project

UnSeen:UnHeard

In May 2006, 28 pupils from 14 Bracknell schools participated in a special project that we organised for Bracknell Forest Education Dept. for young people talented in Arts and Music.

The pupils worked alongside artist, Michael Condron and musician, Alan Gubby to create abstract plaster sculptures and electronic music over the course of the weekend workshop.

Music Project

On the final afternoon, the two strands combined to create a walk-in installation, with hidden audio speakers inside each sculpture playing the music that was specially composed by the pupils to go with each piece.

Student Exhibition

The final results were shown in the early evening to an audience of over 100 family members, friends and teachers.
